5/30 Community Forum on Public Safety: Listening Session

The next Forum on Public Safety on will be held Wednesday, May 30th. This month’s meeting will be a listening session where the community will have an opportunity to ask the City questions and offer comment about the DOJ Settlement Agreement, the recent Status Conference and Fairness Hearing, and the City’s goals for public safety in the future. Representatives from the Portland Police Bureau, Bureau of Emergency Communication, the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Justice will be present.
 

The listening session will be held from 6:30-8:30 pm at:

City Releases Updated RFP for PCCEP Facilitator

The City has posted an RFP (Request for Proposals) to hire a Facilitator to facilitate the establishment and development of the Portland Committee on Community-Engaged Policing (PCCEP), a committee of community members charged with assessing the City of Portland’s implementation of a Settlement Agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ). This RFP replaces the RFP for an Organizational Development Consultant.
